Hi everyone,
The Visitor Studies Group is holding a training event on Weds 23 January called 'Commissioning Audience Research: A Practical Guide', to promote best practice when it comes to commissioning audience research or product/programme evaluation. It's taking place at the Dana Research Centre & Library at the Science Museum between 3-5.30pm.
Aimed at both museum professionals and external researchers/evaluators alike, we hope you'll leave with a best-practice guide on writing and responding to research briefs, covering topics such as budget and day-rates, procurement and writing a clear, concise brief that delivers the best research results and helps to make the process easier for all involved. It will start with a panel discussion, followed by a practical mini-workshop looking at and drafting real research briefs.
The event is free for VSG members, £30 for non-members or £20 for independent freelancers and students.
