Dear FSL experts,
Should all the images (both anatomical and functional) in MNI space have the same size?
Anatomical and Functional resting state fMRI data are preprocessed and registered to MNI space.
For preprocessing of the functional data I used FEAT and for registration of them to MNI space, FLIRT has been used. FEAT out puts (filtered_func_data, standard.nii.gz and example_func2standard.mat files) were used in applyisoxfm command.
For registration of the brain extracted anatomical data to MNI space, FLIRT GUI with default settings were used.
Adding both the anatomical and functional data to FSLeyes, indicates that they both are in MNI space (Coordinates=MNI152).
On the other hand, reading both functional and anatomical data in matlab (using niftiread command), implies that they have different sizes.
size(functional data(:,:,:,1))= 60*72*60 & size(anatomical)= 91*109*91
Full command used for functional data registration is as follows:
flirt -in /home/rest.feat/filtered_func_data.nii.gz -ref /home/fsluser/Documents/rest.feat/reg/standard.nii.gz -out /home/applyisoxfm_out -init /home/rest.feat/reg/example_func2standard.mat -applyisoxfm 3
Any guidance and clarification would be fully appreciated.
Happy New Year.
Kind Regards,
Ali
