The University of Wolverhampton requires an external examiner for a range of BA (Hons) courses contributing to our undergraduate awards for Education Studies & Special Needs and Inclusion Studies.
The external examiner will be expected to monitor the quality of the coursework across the Courses below:
• BA (Hons) Education Studies and English
• BA (Hons) Education Studies and English
• BA (Hons) Education Studies
• BA (Hons) Education Studies
• BA (Hons) Special Educational Needs, Disability and Inclusion and Education Studies
Please note all of our courses have an optional sandwich route. We are seeking candidates whose areas of expertise would enable her or him to monitor the quality of these courses and externally moderate assessed work. External examiners are required to attend at least one award board and one module board a year and complete an annual module report as well as an annual award report. External examiners are also required to provide comments on proposed modifications and the development of new modules within their area of expertise.
The post is for an initial period of 4 years, starting in September 2019.
