Dear all,
Further to my last message regarding chapters for an edited collection I am working on for Peter Lang on critical performative pedagogies, I am now also seeking submissions from learning technologists/lecturers who utilise technology within an art and design context to write short (1k) provocations on critical digital pedagogies. If you are interested, please email a 100-word outline by 22/01/2019 to [log in to unmask] Further details on the nature of these provocations that are inserted throughout the various thematic discussions within the collections are below and a link to more information about the collection can be found here: https://leecampbellacademic.blogspot.com/p/edited-collection-leap-into-action.html
PROVOCATIONS
In the spirit of a volume which argues for the importance of disruption as a pedagogic critical thinking tool and liminality as holding the potential for transgression, writing which has the potential capacity for disruption is engineered into the narrative structure of the monograph. This writing takes the form of provocations, shorter pieces of writing than those chapters that they are inserted between. These pertinent interruptions play an important role in acting as generators for dialogue and conversation all the way throughout the monograph. Adopting an exciting liminal position, these fireworks serve to both support and challenge, at times heckle those ideas being proposed in chapters.
Many thanks
Lee
