Job Opportunity at The National Archives - Senior Conservation Manager - Engagement
The Senior Conservation Manager - Engagement will play a significant role in developing and managing a team of conservation professionals to deliver discreet projects as well as on-going programmes of public and academic engagement, including loans and exhibitions. As the lead, you will build effective working relationships with colleagues across The National Archives and maintain strong bonds within the wider archives and heritage sector.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering a communication programme that will ensure that Collection Care's outstanding and varied work is known to the public and recognised by our professional peers. You will enable and support everyone in Collection Care to contribute to dissemination and engagement activities. You will work closely with The National Archives' Public Engagement, Academic Engagement, Marketing, Press and Web Teams to increase the department's public visibility and academic output through an imaginative and innovative programme of communication and engagement activities, making use of the latest available technology.
You will be an excellent communicator and aiming to forge Collection Care's professional network, you will lead on the dissemination of Collection Care's work to the widest possible public and professional audience.
