Dear All

Regarding the ACT testing and EQA available; we have programmes running for Hemochron ACT+ and ACT-LR. We have also performed pilot studies for GEM PCL ACT+ and are content that we could offer a programme. We advised the users in the pilot study of this but none have so far enrolled. If anyone is interested in EQA for GEM PCL please make contact. We are currently looking at ACT on the I-stat device and we hope to run a pilot free of charge for users of this device. If you are interested in this pilot please make contact. All our ACT programmes (both current and those in pilot stage) run 3 times per year and 2 samples per survey.

Kind regards

Dianne

Hi Michelle,

We have 3 Hemochron Signature Elite's in Cath Lab. They are unconnected at present and we use the NEQAS EQA scheme. Theatres have just put in a request for a device too.
