Hi FSL and topup users:
I have two fieldmaps acquired in PA/AP phase encoding directions and a set of task data acquired in AP direction. Unfortunately, I just realized the echo spacing is not the same for the fieldmaps as for the task data (.59 and .69 ms, respectively). I want to perform fieldmap distortion correction using topup and applytopup to correct a sizeable distortion in the frontal cortex of the task data. Does anyone know if it is OK to use fieldmaps to correct distortion in a dataset when the echo spacing (and hence total readout time, required in the acqparams.txt file) is different between the images? If it is OK, how would I go about specifying the acqparams.txt file? Would I use the fieldmap total readout time for topup command and the task total readout time for applytopup command?
Thanks so much for any help.
Emily
