We are recruiting Research Analysts at our head office in Basel. We seek master's graduates in economics, statistics, finance or related subjects with at least one year of job experience to work in the following area: Quantitative Impact Study Support
You will work with unique financial data, supporting the secretariats of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision and International Association of Insurance Supervisors.
You will conduct data compilation of various Quantitative Impact Studies (QIS) and contribute to QIS analysis by implementing and maintaining statistical reports and helping develop and apply the underlying methodologies. You will provide ad hoc support for statistical requests and contribute to the requirement analysis and testing of new business applications.
You will work in a team-oriented atmosphere and interact with internal and external stakeholders in a highly collaborative and diversified environment.
You have an interest in working with institution-level data and are familiar with the Basel III regulatory framework. You have a passion for working with numerical data and solid knowledge of statistical concepts. You possess a high level of technical expertise and are proficient in Matlab (or R or Python) and have a good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
