We have several roles available.
Professional roles
Project Administrator (two roles): Grade 6
The Project Administrator provides administrative support for the set-up and development of the STOP Project. One role will focus on supporting the project work at the University of Bath, the other will support the coordination of the project across the project partners.
Project Manager (Coordination): Grade 8
The Project Manager will work together with the international project partners to manage and facilitate coordination of this high-profile project.
Marketing & Communications Officer: Grade 7
The Marketing & Communications Officer will enhance and promote the profile of this project to internal and external audiences.
Managing Editor of TobaccoTactics.org: Grade 8
The Managing Editor of TobaccoTactics.org provides editorial oversight of the TobaccoTactics website and be responsible for the day-to-day management of work underpinning its production.
Academic and research roles
Research Director: Grade 9
The Research Director will develop the research, lead the research team and represent the research team to the stakeholders.
Research Assistant TobaccoTactics (two roles): Grade 6
The Research Assistant TobaccoTactics plays a key role in maintaining and editing the TobaccoTactics website.
Research Assistant: Grade 6
The Research Assistant provides research support to a number of academic leads in the research team and to the rapid response team.
Research Associate (three roles): Grade 7
Research Associates play a key role in policy relevant research on the tobacco industry. We are keen to attract those with research and skills in one or more of the following:
social network analysis
process tracing
documentary analysis
supply chain analysis
content analysis
discourse analysis
policy analysis
Big Data
crowd sourcing
Research Associate (Data Science): Grade 7
The Research Associate (Data Science) harnesses digital methods for exploring big data to answer important research questions on tobacco industry activity.
Research Fellow: Grade 8
The Research Fellow leads on the Preventing Policy Influence research topic, critically examines tobacco industry influence on policy (both public health and upstream policies) at global, regional and national levels.
Rapid Engaged Action lead (REACT) Lead: Grade 7
The Rapid Engaged Action lead (REACT) leads the research side of our rapid response service. Depending on your qualifications, this may be a Professional role.
