Dear Suze
Have you come across what I believe to be the wonderful book by Canadian healthcare scholar Arthur Frank, Letting Stories Breathe: A Socio Narratology (2010)? If not, I would highly recommend it. In this book, Frank brings a powerful perspective to healthcare system improvement possibilities focussing, inter alia, on 'the trouble that stories bring'.
I would be interested to hear from anyone on the list who has similarly found Frank's work/ this book highly relevant to the study of the maternity care system.
