A fully funded 3.5 year scholarship is available via the Centre for Business in Society, Coventry University, UK to undertake research focusing upon sustainable consumption. Consumers are powerful actors in the drive towards a more sustainable future, although their choices and actions are mediated by many factors including state regulation, ‘nudge’ behavioural programmes and corporate marketing. In a drive towards a sustainable future it is vital that there is better understanding of the factors driving consumer decision making.
We are looking for applicants who can produce innovative proposals that can shed light on consumer behaviours. Possible foci for the research include the impacts of standards and certifications and/or a commodity focus such as cut-flowers, cocoa, coffee etc.
This opportunity is offered as a joint venture with Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia.
The scholarship is available to UK/EU/International applicants. Please see further details via the web-link below.
