Hi all,
Here's a link to a job that might interest some people:
www.universityaffairs.ca/search-job/?job_id=45358
I was at UVic for most of the last decade (doing a PhD and post-doc in
environmental sociology), political ecologists Kara Shaw and James Rowe
at the School of Environmental Studies have been fantastic colleagues,
doing very progressive work on resource extractivism from a decolonial
perspective. The School is one of the best in Canada and would be an
amazing place to work. There are possibilties for linkages with the
Indigenous Studies program. Victoria is a very beautiful town to live in
as well!
The Canada Research Chair program provides sizeable research funding for
up to 10 years.
Cheers,
JP
