I've been running some PALM analysis on some HCP style surface data.
So far everything looks fine, the fwep files are good... but if I open
the tstat images have rather absurd values in them. My log-01(p) = 3,
my tstats = -133,000, give or take a few 10s of thousands.
I have had this happen before, once or twice, but using the same PALM
commands I have also gotten rational tstats.
Any thoughts on why these numbers are so wonky?
Here's my PALM command example:
PAM - i ${infile}_L.func.gii -d design.mat -t cons.mat -o
results_L_cort -T -tfce2D -s ${surfL} L_area.func.gii -n 1000
Here is an example of the left and right cortex tmaps merged as a
dscalar file:

And the original PALM tstat outputs:

Pip pip cheerio!
