Dear all, two external advisers are required for a periodic review to be held on 2 April 2019; one external should be an academic, while the second can be an industry professional or an academic with industry experience. External advisers should not normally have had any formal association with the Arts University Bournemouth or The Northern School of Art, its staff or students within the last three years.
External Advisors are not required to attend the periodic review meeting as participation will be by correspondence. Externals will be asked to offer their professional opinions to the Panel about their areas of particular expertise and will be provided with a template for this purpose. Documents will be sent electronically and by post (to the correspondence address provided) two weeks before the date of the periodic review meeting.
External advisers will receive a fee of £250.
Our BA (Hons) Fine Art programme has dedicated studio space and workshop provision that can facilitate Painting, Drawing and Printmaking; Woodworking, Metalworking and Plastic fabrication; Digital Media, Film-making and Photography; and Ceramics and Textiles. We are able to introduce students to a wide range of disciplines and material processes that echo the multi-media, inter-disciplinary nature of much contemporary Fine Art. However we also support and encourage the opportunity to experiment around a single discipline such as Painting or Drawing or wish to develop a conceptual, dematerialised practice.
Please send a CV in the first instance to Dr Jonathan Chapman at: [log in to unmask]
