Hi all,
As part of Explore your Archive, we are asking fellow archivists to take part in our event, the Great War Bake Off.
We are asking you to bake cakes using wartime recipes provided by the Library & Archives Service or a recipe you have found yourself. The Archives have delved into their Nutrition collection and selected original Ministry of Food wartime recipes, as well as other First World War recipes, for you to bake. However, we are happy for participants to use a recipe, especially if it comes from your organisation's collection, they have found themselves.
If you are interested, please get in contact with us at [log in to unmask]
More information can be found on our website: http://blogs.lshtm.ac.uk/library/2018/10/31/the-great-war-bake-off-2018/
We have been posted some cakes in the past (Trench cakes), so feel free to do that, we shall tweet them as well as add them to the competition! Competition is on the 21st November, so we would need them on or before 20th November.
Please do contact us if you are interested in taking part.
Best wishes
