5-year Global Health Post-Doc opportunity for Research Fellow with quantitative experience, University of Southampton, UK
An exciting opportunity is available to be part of a team working on a research programme entitled: “Improving adult health in sub-Saharan Africa through couples-focused interventions for HIV, STIs and diabetes”, exploring the value of couples-focused behaviour change strategies for health intervention research and practice in sub-Saharan Africa.
You will have a PhD or equivalent professional qualification and experience in Epidemiology, Demography, Medical/Social Statistics or a relevant quantitative social science discipline. The position is based at Southampton General Hospital within the Public Health Group in the Department of Primary Care and Population Sciences, and is funded by a Global Health Professorship award from the National Institute of Health Research. The research programme is a partnership between the University of Southampton and two South African institutions: Human Sciences Research Council and University of Cape Town. The post is 100% FTE with an end date of Oct 31, 2023.
