It gives us great pleasure to officially invite you to our annual PSI
Medical Statistics Careers Event, to be held at the De Montfort University
in Leicester on Wednesday 20th February 2019.
The half-day event will include a series of talks, panel discussion,
exhibition stands and a networking session. For further details see below
or click here <https://www.psiweb.org/careers-homepage/psi-careers-event> to
register online.
For Students (Registration Deadline - Friday 1st Feb 2019):
All students currently studying for a mathematics or statistics-related
BSc, MSc or PhD are invited to attend (however, places may be limited for
BSc students depending on demand).
This is an excellent opportunity to find out more about the field of
medical statistics, talk to people from different organisations and make
contacts for the future.
For Exhibitors (Registration Deadline - Wednesday 9th Jan 2019):
For the exhibition session and networking session, we need representatives
from any UK pharmaceutical companies, CROs, CTUs and other organisations
working within the field of Medical Statistics, including any UK-based
universities who run an MSc or PhD in Statistics, or have statistical
consulting groups.
We will also be looking for company volunteers to help with the panel
discussion, new starter talk and networking session, so please let us know
on your registration form if you are able to help. For more information
about the volunteering opportunities available for exhibitors please click
here <https://www.psiweb.org/careers-homepage/psi-careers-event>.
The aim of the exhibition session is to promote working or studying further
in the field Medical Statistics, so that students can be made fully aware
of their options. The aim of the Networking Session is to give students
more time to interact with exhibitors and students from other universities
in a more informal setting, as well as an opportunity for exhibitors to
network with each other. This is an excellent opportunity to raise the
profile of your company or university with students who are interested in a
career in Medical Statistics.
We look forward to seeing you there!
