Hi Debbie,
We use Qpoint for our glucose meter EQA,
They generate easy to understand single-page reports and distribute these with EQA samples on a monthly basis - directly to the participant.
Participants and nominated coordinators have access to the website for result entry/keep track of returns. If required paper copy returns can go directly to Qpoint, reducing the time required for on-site admin.
The coordinator can also monitor participant performance via coordinator report, also posted monthly.
As Qpoint was specifically designed for POCT, the staff are well attuned to the challenges faced and as the primary contact for participants, can deal with enquiries effectively.
Of course... I'm not at all biased...

Subject: Glucose meter EQA
Question for you all;
I’m interested in finding out how other sites organise EQA for their glucose meters.
1) Who provides the EQA material?
2) Do you generate reports in house, or are they produced by the EQA provider?
3) How often do you distribute?
Also, if I remember correctly there is a member of this form who provides an EQA service. If so, please would you make yourself known!
Regards
