Hi Shahina
As Tony said.... we did not write the urinalysis spec in isolation so we don`t have exactly the documents you need, I can however share a few thoughts with you on what I would consider for any future spec.
I am sure that you have the obvious/logical stuff covered already, so I have here a list of the less obvious things:
1) Carefully specify WIFI system to be used and ensure that the IT team is involved in that to future proof the service.
2) Ensure that the controlling middleware is fit for purpose and demonstrably suitable for the task.
3) Ensure that the meters can hold sufficient operators in its user list. Too few users on the device means that the staff on ward A cannot use the meters on ward B. (never a good thing!)
4) Ensure that the test strips are suitable for eye reading as well as machine reading to proof your service against machine/IT failure.
(if the IT/machine fails they will try eye reading so you might as well provide them with strips that are easy to use, even if you tell them not to eye read, someone is still going to do it!)
5) Set implementation deadlines and KPI based around the timely setup and continued support of the service.
Additionally:
Demand a specific demonstration for NICU and similar specialities to make sure that there is no attempt to deploy the device into an unsuitable location.
Hope this helps and best of luck with your upgrade.
Kind Regards

Difficult one this as we procured our urinalysis service as part of a wider pan-pathology managed service. There was a full POCT section in that tender with generic specifications around quality, connectivity, performance, user management, KPIs etc. So in the traditional sense we do not have a full specification solely for urinalysis.
We have ended up with a sound solution which we continue to optimise especially around user management.
Apologies for not replying sooner. Richard Kua has suggested he will respond with further details but I will dig out the spec and send you what I can to your email direct.
