Dear all,
I work for the Heritage Lottery Funded Tomintoul & Glenlivet Landscape Partnership, located in Moray, on the north eastern edge of the Cairngorms National Park. We are supporting two of our partners, Tomintoul & Glenlivet Development Trust and Tomintoul & Glenlivet History Group, to develop a local online digital archive.
The archive will have various material including oral history recordings of local stories, historic photographs and documents relating to the built heritage of the area. We have started to gather this material into a digital archive. This is an ongoing task with great help and support from volunteers, including the local history group, and we wish to share this more widely through creating an online digital archive with searchable webpages.
We are currently putting tender documents together to bring in consultants to help us develop the online archive and associated public-facing webpages. We would be grateful if members of the list would be willing to share with us if they know of consultants that have the skills and background in building online archives and webpages or any experience if they have gone through a similar process.
If anyone is able to provide any information (if possible this week - sorry for the short notice!) or if you have any questions please get in touch with us using the contact details below.
With best wishes,
Amy Woolvin
