Working within the Marketing, Communications and Engagement team at the University of Central Lancashire, the purpose of this role is to work as an events team to co-ordinate and cultivate a range of high-profile corporate events across the University, with a focus on UCLan’s flagship engagement event – the Lancashire Science Festival, in order to increase positive internal and external engagement.
Qualified to degree level we are looking for someone with recent and demonstrable experience of organising high-profile and large-scale corporate and/or public events engaging a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
The successful candidate will have recent experience of working with a busy customer-facing office environment.
This role requires excellent organisational and planning skills along with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and an ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure events are a success and measurable against institutional KPIs.
Due to the nature of corporate events, occasional evening and weekend work will feature within this role as well as travel to other UCLan campuses.
