Hi all,
Here at UWE Bristol, we're embarking on a project to make our reading lists more inclusive, e.g. to appeal to students from different cultures, backgrounds, countries, and for students with different learning styles, disabilities, etc.
We are interested in how we support academics with their efforts at creating more inclusive curricula and are aware of the NUS "Why is my curriculum white?" campaign. If any other universities also have a strong interest in creating inclusive reading lists, and maybe have some expertise to share, we'd appreciate hearing about your experiences.
On a related note, if anyone has used any functionality in Talis Aspire to help in their efforts (either to promote and improve existing reading lists or to analyse data from item reports), I'd be very interested.
Many thanks,
Ted
