Postdoctoral Research Fellow Position

Purdue University’s Center for Connected and Automated Transportation
(CCAT) carries out research, education, and engagement in six primary
complementary areas related to connected and autonomous vehicles (CAV):
modeling and implementation, control and operations, infrastructure design
and management, human factors, policy & planning and enabling the emerging
technologies. Our interests include driving simulation in CAV environments,
on-demand transportation, and analysis of ride-sharing systems. In our
work, we use a wide range of analytical tools including large-scale
nonlinear optimization, statistical and econometric modeling, and machine
learning. Dr. Samuel Labi, professor of civil engineering at Purdue
University, is the director of Purdue’s CCAT center.
We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals in the area of
connected and automated vehicles for the position of Postdoctoral
Researcher. Applicants should have a PhD in transportation engineering,
operations research, electrical engineering, computer science or
statistics. The appointee may also be involved in teaching and mentoring
graduate and undergraduate research assistants. The appointment is for one
year, with a possibility for renewal. The position is open immediately and
salary will be based on qualification and experience.
