Can anyone point me towards useful guidance for retention dates around pre employment Vetting records please?
I am looking to recommend a standard global period with an exception for when there may be a question around someone's background. Specifically, where there may have been an allegation against the candidate made.
We need to record our investigation of the allegation as well as our final decision about their employment based on risk and mitigations.
Any thoughts?
