Subject: Feminist/critical geography postdoc in India

Dear all,

We have an opening for a postdoctoral position in feminist and/or critical
geographies at IISER Mohali. Of particular interest would be those working
in the areas of infrastructure, mobilities or urban studies framework
although others are also encouraged to apply.

The postdoc will have an opportunity to develop their own work and coteach
a course. They will also participate in one of my projects based on their
expertise:

1) An ethnography of road construction on India's Himalayan borders - this
uses a feminist geopolitical approach to understanding infrastructural
assemblages.

2) Ethnography of planned urban developments in North India- a critical
and feminist approach to urban studies.

Salary is competitive and will be as per Government of India norms. There
will be an additional HRA (house rent allowance) for those renting
accomodation. The position is for one year extendable uptown 2 years.

Interested candidates please contact Anu Sabhlok:
[log in to unmask] with a statement of interest, CV, copies of
two recent publications and names of 3 referees.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thanks,
anu
