Dear all,
On Wednesday 24th October, join BLAM for an evening of discussion and light snacks for our Black History Month event. In addition to hearing our panellists' experiences, we will be exploring how Black-owned businesses & innovative Black-owned spaces are changing the narrative for Black Britons.
Our distinguished panellists include:
Ade Edu - Co-founder of LinkUp Tv
Cecilia Goodwin - Senior Solicitor at Stephensons Solicitors LLP
Khalia Ismain - Founder of Jamii
Mark Maciver - Founder of SliderCuts
Viv Ahmun - Founder of Blaksox
The entirety of the money raised from ticket sales will be going towards funding our forthcoming Rooted project. The Rooted project will be focused on providing FREE comprehensive lessons on African and Caribbean history, politics and philosophy for children on Saturdays.
