Applications are invited for the post of Senior Cardiovascular Data Scientist which sits within the William Harvey Research Institute: http://www.whri.qmul.ac.uk/, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, part of Queen Mary University of London. The SMD is a leading medical and dental school that offers international levels of excellence in research and teaching as well as providing clinical service for a population of unrivalled ethnic diversity in east London and the wider Thames Gateway.
We are looking for a highly motivated data scientist to develop the analytical and research capacity in the Centre for Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging, William Harvey Research Institute.
The post holder will analyse & process diverse biomedical, imaging and clinical research data to enable the delivery of high-quality translational and clinical research, towards the objectives the NIHR Barts Biomedical Research Centre (Barts BRC) and a number of high profile EU and UK grants.
This post is full time and fixed term for 12 months starting in December 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter – this may be extended subject to agreement between the WHRI and the post holder. Starting salary will be in the range £37,411 to £44,015 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
