Dear SimSoc list members,
I have few questions regarding possibilities to publish reproductions of models published earlier:
1) Is there any journal publishing papers on just reproductions of previously published models without any conditions (i.e. also result "everything works fine, we find no differences or bugs" is publishable)?
2) What differences or other observations are needed to be observed for publishing?
3) Is there any chance to publish paper on model reproduction in journal like JASSS or with similar rank?
Note: By reproduction I mean realization of model in different programming language, by different programmer, on different hardware.
I kindly thank you for answers in advance - I am not new to the field, but I have found strong desire to reproduce recently. So I wonder which place should this desire take in my (professional) life: Could I fulfill my publishing comittments by reproduction? Or should I take it only as a hobby and service for the community? Or should I reproduce only models which I am about to extend and then use in a publishable project?
With deference,
Frantisek
