Hello all,
I've written this book that was inspired by my passion and work to support further education (FE). I hope you’ll agree that there hasn’t been a direct resource for information learning technology (ILT) in FE – hence me doing this. I wrote an article for FE News that details more about this (https://www.fenews.co.uk/featured-article/19280-how-can-fe-teachers-and-assessors-become-more-digitally-capable-maximum-expectations-against-limited-support-ltbookfe). I'm just doing a round of raising the book’s awareness.
The book is aimed at those who are starting out using or who have an awareness of learning technology, and are exploring how to make the most of digital technologies in their learning, teaching and assessment practices. Equally, it is suitable for anyone studying on any education and training programme. The text practically guides readers through identifying their own digital capabilities, sourcing and applying the effective use of learning technology and how to keep up to date with it.
Hopefully this speaks to you and gives you a reason to get a copy. If it’s not for you, you may know others who may find it useful or even to add to reading lists. To learn more about the book visit the links below:
