Subject: [BSA-RACE] FW: State Violence and the Poetic Response
Dear Friends
Kindly circulate to your networks information about the forthcoming event 'State Violence and the Poetic Response', being held at Goldsmiths University of London on 5th-6th December 2018.
This event is completely FREE, and features Fred D’Aguiar, multi-award-winning poet, novelist and playwright, and Professor of English at UCLA, and Nick Makoha, Cave Canem Graduate Fellow and winner of the Toi Dericotte & Cornelius Eady Chapbook Prize.
We are seeking applications from talented aspiring writers to work closely with Fred and Nick in a workshop setting (open to all, the only restriction is a minimum age of 14), as well as a lively audience for an evening reading and panel discussion!
Please see website at www.stateviolence.com<http://www.stateviolence.com> for further information.
Kind regards
Leila Kamali
