I am looking for help with the identification of a compound ascidian
found recently on a vertical rock face on the lower shore of Petit
Port bay on Guernsey's south coast.
I have received great help from a gentleman on the NE Atlantic
tunicata Facebook group but there is some uncertainty about the
identification.
I am sharing photos with this list in the hope that someone is
familiar with the look of this species.
I do not know if it is permissible to have attachments on the email
list but if not, I will email photos to anyone who would like to see
the images if they have not seen them already.
Photos are also available at a larger size and other similar photos
are available if they would help with identification.
I am hoping to share the identification of this species with the
Guernsey Biological Records Centre that keeps such records for further
research and prosperity.

Thank you for your help.
Best wishes,
Richard
