We are seeking a well-trained postdoctoral fellow with deep experience in human functional neuroimaging, especially in mental health contexts. Especially sought are candidates with expertise in modeling of both resting and task-fMRI data.  The candidate will work on a priority NIH project. The project offers the opportunity to dive into a rich dataset of over 500 scans comprising repeat functional, structural and diffusion scans acquired over multiple years, within an intervention design. In the new phase of the project, imaging will be used to guide personalized interventions. 

The postdoctoral fellow would be expected to lead analyses of these longitudinal imaging datasets and drive publications from the outcomes. There is scope for developing sophisticated machine-learning models from these longitudinal data. These analyses would rely on the candidate’s deep experience with human neuroimaging data and expert-level knowledge of imaging analysis packages and/or scripting. 

This position will be based at Stanford, within the William’s PanLab, and work within an excellent and inter-disciplinary team of faculty investigators, postdocs and research coordinators.  The lab is well established and the imaging foundations include Stanford’s nearby imaging facilities, along with a dedicated neuroimaging operations team and server within the lab. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•	Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in human functional neuroimaging
•	Expert level experience with imaging toolboxes, such as within SPM
•	Experience in customizing scripts to contribute to imaging analysis pipelines 
•	Experience in statistical and computational approaches
•	Self-motivated with a preference for working within an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment

The scientific foundations of the research draw on cognitive and affective neuroscience, and are applied clinically to understanding depression and related health behaviors. A clear motivation to pursue human neuroimaging research in these discipline areas is important.
