Marta
You won't be surprised to learn that this is not an infrequent question on this
list and elsewhere. You'll find some useful information in the replies to a post
by Emily Bennett on this list in February 2017. We also highlighted some
examples in the January 2017 issue of DCC's Pipeline newsletter. These are all
in reports which are about data reuse and its impact in general but they include
a number of examples of cross-discipline reuse, at least in part because this is
seen as having greater potential impact.
There's the "Open to all?" study which RIN commissioned from DCC:
http://www.rin.ac.uk/system/files/attachments/NESTA-RIN_Open_Science_V01_0.pdf
RIN's own study on the value of data centres:
http://www.rin.ac.uk/system/files/attachments/Data_Centres_Report.pdf
and an ebook from ANDS containing 16 examples of reuse of Australian research
data: http://www.ands.org.au/news-and-events/dataimpact
I (re)use examples from all of these regularly
best regards
Kevin
