Dear Colleagues,
Postdoctoral (research assistant) and advanced postdoctoral (research officer) positions in experimental physical chemistry are available in the group of Prof. Gil Alexandrowicz at the new chemistry department in Swansea University, UK.
The goal of this project, funded by the European Research Council ( https://cordis.europa.eu/project/rcn/214696_en.html ), is to control and resolve rotational quantum states in a molecule-surface collision. The novel approach is based on performing matter-wave magnetic interference experiments with ground state molecules [Nature Communications, 8, 15357 (2017)], and the results are expected to contribute to the fundamental understanding of molecule-surface interactions.
Details of the required qualifications for the two positions can be found in the Swansea university website: http://www.swansea.ac.uk/personnel/jobs/list.php?LOV4=7814&LOV5=All&keywords=&jobnum=&Resultsperpage=20&srcsubmit=Search&statlog=1&ID=QHUFK026203F3VBQB7VLO8NXD&mask=suext&LG=UK
For informal enquiries, please feel free to contact Gil Alexandrowicz by email: [log in to unmask]
