That's an interesting point. The note I have about Burr dealing in spelter is in the minute book of the Snailbeach Lead Mining Co Ltd who invariably referred to zinc sulphide, which they mined & sold, as 'blende'.
Can anyone confirm whether or not zinc was smelted at Minera in the late-19th century?
