Dear Kim,
the .fix.log and .fix_2b_predict.log are hidden file, so you won’t see them from Finder or other file managers.
From the terminal, go in the same directory you found the logMatlab and type:
ls -a
in this way you will be able to see hidden files. If they are present you can read them for example with 'cat' or ‘more'
Anyway, the Matlab part seems to have run ok, if you want to check: you need to have a folder called fix with inside, among other files, the files features.mat and features.csv
