Subject: External Examiner Required
The University of Buckingham is looking to appoint an External Examiner with expertise in Diplomacy for the BSc Business and Diplomacy.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
• Experience of teaching similar subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate level • Commitment to travel to Budapest twice a year (Feb, Jul), hence close travel proximity to airports with direct flights to Budapest will be desirable
The role will require External Examiners to:
• approve assessment and examination questions;
• moderate sample of examination scripts and assessed work during February and July
• attend Exam Boards in person in Budapest in February and July
• submit a formal report after each Exam Board; and
• potentially be involved in consultation on programme modifications.
Successful applicants would be appointed with effect from September/October 2018 for a term of four years.
