Wrexham Glyndwr University in North East Wales is looking to appoint an External Examiner for the BA Hospitality, Tourism & Events Management programme.
We also have collaborative partners in Barking & Dagenham, Neath/Port Talbot, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Greece, Dubai & Myanmar who deliver the programme of study and the successful candidate will be responsible for the external moderation from these sources.
Applicants should have subject expertise in the Hospitality, Tourism & Events Management subject area, and preferably external examiner experience. The candidate should also be currently teaching in this subject area and have had curriculum design/development experience relating to higher academic level programmes. Appointment will be for a period of 4 years starting with the academic year 2018/19. External examiners are expected to review the assessment process and moderate work and attend the assessment board once a year usually in June / July.
