The 8th Conference of the European Survey Research Association will take place 15th-19th July 2019 in Zagreb, Croatia.
The ESRA Conference Committee is now inviting researchers who are active in the field of survey research, survey methodology and data analysis to submit proposals for individual paper and poster presentations for the conference.
Proposals are invited in any area of survey methodology, or in substantive applications of survey research. We encourage proposals from researchers with a variety of backgrounds, including academic research, national statistics and market research.
To submit an abstract you will first need to select a session. This year we received a record number of session proposals on a wide variety of interesting topics, relating to the following areas of research:
· Survey methods and data quality
· Surveying specific population subgroups
· Questionnaire design and testing
· Measurement challenges in survey research
· Modes of data collection
· Survey fieldwork processes
· Comparative survey research
· Combining survey data with other sources
· Data management and post-survey processing
· Developments in survey analysis techniques
· Substantive applications of survey research
· Research relating to specific large-scale survey projects
A complete overview of all 120 sessions being organised can be consulted on the following link: https://www.europeansurveyresearch.org/conferences/sessionCategories.
Once you have chosen a session, please submit an abstract (max. 300 words) by logging into your ESRA account (or signing up for one, if needed). You may submit a maximum of two abstracts on which you are listed as presenting author.
The closing date for the submission of abstracts is 18th November 2018.
