We seek a highly motivated Research Fellow in statistics or epidemiology with a strong interest in ageing and psychology, to work on longitudinal health datasets and collaboratively produce high quality research and contribute to our research team based at School of Psychology and at Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA).

Fixed Term for 3 years with possibility of renewal
Full-time 35 hours per week – part time may be considered
The role of the Research Fellow reports to Professor Kaarin Anstey and will be based within the School of Psychology, Faculty of Science.
The School of Psychology is located in the Faculty of Science and has 40 full-time members of academic staff and 15 general staff. It has an operating budget of over $12 million and additional research funding of over $10 million per annum. The School administers a range of undergraduate courses and degrees, with student numbers of over 1,000 in the first year to 65 in the fourth year Honours research program.
The School also offers two postgraduate professional coursework Masters degrees, with a total enrolment of 60, and supervises the research of over 100 students enrolled in the PhD degree program. The School is very active in research, with most staff holding external research funding. The School has extensive laboratory facilities for both research and teaching.
About the successful applicant:
To be successful in this role you will have
Expertise in multilevel modelling, meta-analysis, and/or machine learning and capacity to acquire new statistical techniques and skills
Experience conducting advanced multivariate statistical analysis of health datasets and longitudinal data.
PhD in biostatistics, epidemiology, psychological methods or mathematical psychology.
