Salary: £28,050 - £36,644 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Statistician to join the Department of Medical Statistics based at Wythenshawe Hospital.
Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is the largest Trust in the NHS, recently formed from the merger of Central and South Manchester Trusts. We sponsor and host the full range of clinical trials and other research projects and our Statisticians play an important role in ensuring our studies are of the highest quality.
The post-holder will assist in the provision of a statistical advisory service to Trust researchers, the development of a web-based information service, and be involved in the data management and statistical analysis of data from major projects. They will also be expected to contribute to the statistics education programme.
The successful applicant will have a good first degree in statistics (or mathematics with a strong statistical content) and preferably a postgraduate qualification.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical statistical skills in a high-level working environment.
