As part of the reinvigoration of our Statistics Group within the School of Mathematics and Statistics, we are seeking to recruit a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, to join an experienced team with an excellent record in both teaching and research. You will be expected to contribute to the teaching of our existing modules as well as to the development of new teaching materials. We have an established qualification in Mathematics and Statistics and are launching a new qualification in Data Science in 2019.
You will be expected to be research active in an appropriate area in order to contribute to our submission to the Mathematical Sciences panel in REF2021. In 2014, 75% of our outputs were judged to be 'world leading' or 'internationally excellent' by this panel.
The School of Mathematics and Statistics is aiming to make further appointments in statistics, including a fixed-term postdoctoral research post in preparation for REF2021.
