Dear All,
We have found a persistent negative bias on our Nova Biomedical Statstrip meter for ketones quality control level 1. Does anyone amend the ranges set by Nova? I have contacted Nova but they said they were not aware of this being done although they could not rule it out.
Secondly, how have other sites verified ketones? We tested against the meter then in use but it was only being used on Paediatric patients and we have done little on-going verification or cross site comparison (apart from EQA)since. Interested in what other sites have done.
Kind regards,
Mary
