Hi Shahina,

Our rep mentioned this to us on her last visit. It is going to cause us a big problem given how many devices we have and how reliant our users are on them. I would be very reluctant to switch to the combur 10s given the FSN. I think it would be safer to just visually read the combur 7s rather than run the 10s on the device and then manually confirm them. Visual reading obviously has its downsides, however, so there is no clear solution here.

Best wishes,

Rebecca

Subject: Urisys 1100

Hi everyone

Please can I ask if any Trusts are using Roche Urisys1100 urine dipstick readers? Roche diagnostics have issued a product change notice stating that combur 7 strips are no longer intended for use on the urisys 1100 and are for visual reading only. The Combur 10 strips which are intended for use on the Urisys1100 have a safety notice alert.
