Subject: Then This
It was quiet.
I saw a sweet vine,
and reached out for green.
The motion was indelible.
I move still.
And the litmus wind allows me
to keep breathing.
What I took is who I am.
I did not ask.
I do not now.
I move like fluid through the place I made
for where I know I am.
