I think the original statement was that during LS2 they would move to SL/CentOS7.
That starts in Autumn /winter this year I think.

Hm... that's a good point.
It should be a goal to be off that release "well before" that date.
So I should have thought that, in, say, one year, we should all be starting to see SL6 "in the rear view mirror."
