Do we know who the maintainers of this website are and if they are affiliated to icom.museum ?

http://cidoc-dswg.org

It is a very well maintained knowledgebase and I was tempted to join but the login page and registration is unsecured (no SSL certificate for the login page) which seems to be a fundamental lapse of security for such a quality collection of documents over 10 years.

http://cidoc-dswg.org/wiki/tiki-register.php

It seems to have the The International Committee for Documentation in the Header Graphic but that site
seems to be well prepped and distinct from http://cidoc-dswg.org in terms of having a SSL and separate community forum.

https://icommunity.icom.museum/en/user?destination=home

Thanks in advance,
Regards,

Subject: Collections Management Systems

Dear colleagues

I’m trying to get in touch with as many museum collections management system vendors as possible, regarding this autumn’s CIDOC conference. (I’m not trying to sell them anything.) If you know of any that AREN’T in the list below, please could you let me know? If you had a web address or contact email address for the system as well, I’d be particularly grateful!

And if you can put me in touch with the people responsible for Erfgoedsuite, EsineVati, Sofie, or Vati, I’d also be in your debt.

With thanks and best wishes

Rupert
