GIG is pleased to be planning a return visit to the National Assembly for Wales Members’ Library on Wednesday 31st October 2-4pm. This visit will provide information on the operation of the National Assembly’s Library which supports Assembly Members, their staff, and the staff of the Assembly Commission. Find out about the ethics and other considerations of providing information to AMs; how the service supports AMs when sitting in Plenary and the extensive work undertaken to prepare for Plenary sessions, and how this information is made available to the public. A fascinating glimpse into “parliamentary” library and information services will be provided. There will also be an option of visiting a local café after the visit for more informal discussion and networking.
