Due to unforseen circumstances resulting in the unavailability of a previously appointed panel member, Bournemouth University (Faculty of Health and Social Sciences) is looking for an academic with relevant subject experience to act as external panel member for the approval of a new BSc (Hons) Operating Department Practice award.

This programme approval event will be held on Wednesday 5th September - Thursday 6th September 2018. 

In addition, there will be an agenda setting meeting and tour of resources on the afternoon of Tuesday 4th September 2018 - ideally all participants would attend this, however given the short notice we could faciliate an alternative approach to agenda setting if necessary.

The new BSc programme is intended to replace the existing Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) accredited Dip HE Operating Department Practice.

This approval is taking place as part of a larger event reviewing the University's HCPC accredited provision.

We will pay a fee of£300 for participation in this event, plus reasonable expenses and accomodation if required.
