We have an exciting opportunity for a Community and Learning Officer for the east of Suffolk.
Suffolk County Council and the University of Suffolk are working together to deliver an exciting new heritage project, called The Hold: A Suffolk Archives Service for the 21st Century. This is to share Suffolk’s rich archival heritage in new and engaging ways, with more people than ever before.
Our project has attracted support from the Heritage Lottery Fund and now, to help deliver our vision for combining heritage with community engagement and education, we need a new team member.
You will:
• have demonstrable experience of engaging with target audiences such as “hard to reach” audiences and schools
• have knowledge and understanding of heritage collections and the heritage sector
• have demonstrable social media and digital engagement skills.
